Sturge-Weber Syndrome Center: Eric Kossoff, MD
Dr. Kossoff is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics and a member of The John M. Freeman Pediatric Epilepsy Center, as well as the Division of Pediatric Neurology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is the Associate Director of the pediatric neurology training program. His clinical practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood seizures and epilepsy, most notably non-pharmacologic treatment of epilepsy (diets, surgery, and electrical stimulation). He also sees other disorders of child neurology, including migraines. Dr. Kossoff's clinical and research interests include the ketogenic and modified Atkins diets, infantile spasms, hemispherectomy, migraine, and Sturge-Weber syndrome (SWS).
